A Storm Took It All Away

These paintings were all created in the past two years, more or less.
They are part of an ongoing series that deals with the dramatic climate shifts along with the architectural shapes and much smaller organic forms that serve as endless inspiration for me. The search for a subtle balance between the man-made and natural worlds is the underlying theme in these paintings that are often inspired by a particular place, physical details of a cloud, a building, geological formations or even the magnified image of a microbe.
